Description Inside
Inside is a side-scrolling action game for up to two players, based on the C64 game Chip-War. The player controls a ship located Inside the computer (on the main board) that has to repair the eight chips needed to supply power to the computer. After finding the broken chip, the player is transferred to the diagram board. The player must replace the damaged pieces before the time runs out. At any time the player can check the amount of remaining errors (letter T) or view the correct schematic (letter S, costs 100 units of time). If the components are not repaired, the computer power is lost. All damage affects the game itself, e.g. a damaged sound card distorts the music, a damaged graphics card blurs the view of the screen, a damaged joystick port interacts with the ship's steering. Reaching zero power level shuts down the computer and ends the game.
