NEIL Android

NEIL Android is a video game in the action genre developed by Alternative Software Ltd. and published by Alternative Software Ltd. originally released in 1988. It is currently playable on Commodore 64, Amstrad CPC.

In the year 2099, the spacecraft EPIC is on another of its journeys when it is suddenly caught in a plasma storm, forcing it to veer off course to an uncharted location. Due to the damage caused by the storm, EPIC is forced to land on an uninhabited planet for urgent repairs. During their stay on the planet, the ship's crew had no idea that an unknown virus had been introduced to the ship. Upon returning to EPIC's home base on Altontron, the crew realized that the ship had been infected by the alien life form.

They sent an android named NEIL to dispose of the aliens. Each room on the ship contains nine green aliens that NEIL must destroy. In addition to these aliens, there are also robots that enter the room from time to time. When shot, these robots leave cells, which give NEIL extra ammunition, allow him to replenish his air supply or use a smart bomb that kills all the aliens in the room. Finding a turbolift allows NEIL to travel between floors.
