Description Sinbad

Sinbad is an action game loosely based on the stories of Sinbad the Sailor. It consists of two phases, each with completely different gameplay.

The first is viewed from the side and the task here is to convert the enemies of Sinbad to a peaceful life form. A magic carpet with a rope ladder attached to it, as well as a number of enemies, move across the screen. Sinbad converts enemies by touching them but in order to reach them he has to jump and climb the ladder. However, once converted, if you come into contact with them again, Sinbad will fall off the ladder, making it increasingly difficult to reach the remaining enemies.

When all the enemies have been turned, the game moves to the second stage in which Sinbad sits on the magic carpet and flies through space. This stage is played from a rear view of Sinbad and the task is to fly past the numerous asteroids that appear without getting hit. You must also avoid flying too high or into the atmosphere, as this will cause you to run out of energy. If too much energy is lost, the game will end. The time the player has to stay alive in the second stage is the same as the time needed to complete the first stage.
